Beef Type Semi-determinate
The large fruit of 280 to 350 grams, delivers a very high yield of excellent quality. The semi-determinate plants are very vigorous which makes it ideal to produce on flattened beds or a low staked trellis.
Like any other purple podded variety, Purple Queen cooks dark green and has an excellent bean flavor. Our 196 is a long podded, late season, dark blue vined variety.
