- Leafbird is an orange- flesh diploid variety covered with dark green skin and very dark green jagged stripes.
- Maturity is from early to medium. It has a good setting ability that can carry 1.5 fruits per plant.
- Single fruit weight is 7.7-10 lb with a max of 12 lb. Its flesh is a charming orange color with little seed.
- Delivering a soft, very sweet, tenuous and crispy texture with 12% brix at the center. The rind is tough enough for storage and transportation.

- Harvest at about 55 days after transplant, and can have second setting if plants are taken care of.
- Rind is as thin as 0.6cm but firm enough for storage and transportation.
- The flesh is charming yellow in color, delivering a soft, smooth, fiber-less, and very sweet taste with brix, 11.5-12.5%.
